And all of the lenses in 5-30X56 FFP are also physically coated to achieve maximum surface scratch resistance. Nitrogen-filled and waterproof rubber gasket seals ensure adequate waterproof and fog-proof performance at all temperatures and climates.
Made of solid 34mm diameter 6061-T6 aviation grade aluminium tube, 5-30XFFP is equipped with high sensitivity and wind direction adjustment handwheel. The total adjustment range is 24 MIL, each click value is 0.1 MIL.

Lightweight Design
Most optical sights, with 34 mm or 35 mm tubes, usually weigh badly, usually about 1,000 grams or more; however, these problems do not exist in SS5-30 X56 FFP products, because SS5-30 X56 FFP uses light metals instead of some traditional heavy-duty materials inside. The total weight is less than 900 grams, lighter than most similar products, and even close to the weight of the optical sight of 30 mm tubes.
Steel Turret Gear
Most optical sight turrets have gears, and the accuracy of gears determines the accuracy of the sight. Usually the material of gears is mainly copper or aluminium, and even some high-end products are made of copper. Our 5-30X56 uses steel. After finishing all gears, quenching and hardening heat treatment is added. It's very wear-resistant and improves its life. In the optical sighting industry, steel gear is always a production problem. If the material is too soft, the hardness of the gear is not as good as copper, but if the hardness of steel is higher, the processing is very troublesome. After heat treatment, the size is prone to change. But we solved that.
Strong Metal Structure
The main tube of the riflescope has a shell thickness of up to 2.5 mm. It is well known that most of the ordinary optical sights are 1.8 mm, and a few are 2 mm. This model is mainly used for powerful rifles(sush like 0.5 bullet, so the product is reinforced from inside to outside. It can ensure reliable use in harsh Situation.
Big Size Turret.
Compared with the standard small diameter gear, the turret of SKWoptics optical sight reduces the total number of turning cycles on the premise that the total amount of adjustment is the same. In this way, the height of the turret is effectively reduced. The internal structure of the product is more compact and the failure rate is lower. As follows: SKWoptics 5-30X56 turret has only two adjustments, but it reaches 24 MIL (82.48 MOA) and 12 MIL (41.24 MOA) per turn. Ordinary optical sight turrets with small diameter usually rotate about 4-6 cycles to achieve such a total adjustment.

What is FFP rifle scope:
FFP is the abbreviation or abbreviation of "first focal" . Most modern variable powered riflescopes will have the reticle installed in one of two ways, in the first focal plane or the second focal plane. Now, there are one or two manufacturers that have scopes with reticles in both focal planes but this is more the exception than the rule. The focus of this article though will be the differences between FFP and SFP reticles and what that means to the shooter. First Focal Plane: First focal plane optics are fairly common with many European manufacturers however that is no so much the case with some American optics companies. It wasnrsquot until just recently that some of the larger names in the American optics industry began to offer scopes with first focal plane reticles. Part of the reason is that this method is costly and time consuming from a production and design stand point. First focal plane optics have the reticle installed towards the front of the erector or forward of the lenses that help control the magnification range of the scope. What this means is that as that scope goes through its magnification range the reticle will appear to change size, becoming thinner or thicker depending on the magnification. The reticle isnrsquot actually changing size but is in fact maintaining its size relative to the target image in the scope meaning that its subtensions stay the same. With the subtensions staying the same throughout the magnification range range estimation, trajectory compensation, and zeroing can be performed on any power greatly increasing the scopes utility. The rough diagram below shows reticle placement in a first focal plane optic. Note its forward position in the erector.
Below is an example of what the reticle would look like while looking through a FFP optic on high and then low power. Eventhough the reticle appears to get smaller or thinner, it is in fact staying the same size relative to the target.
